Kayoufong Falls（卡悠峯瀑布 ）

Today I want to show you guys a special place, it's a very beautiful waterfall in Kenting.



There are a lot of beautiful mountains in Kenting, and there are many waterfalls here include: "Lan-Ren Stream" and "Qi-Kong Falls". Both of the best spots you should visit here. And this time I'm going to show you the one called "Ka-You-Fong Falls", it's a little bit far from Kenting, but trust me, you'll love it.

This place is locating at Fangshan Town, about 40 mins from Kenting. After through over "Fangshan Bridge", there's a green sign - "Fangshan Fruit Farm" ( 枋山果園 ) on your right side, go into this road, it's a one-way road so you don't have to worry about getting lost, it will take about 10 mins, then you'll see a entrance of the waterfall.

The condition of the road from here is not very well, it's little bit muddy, when you passing by another, the road is really small, people have to be careful.



Speaking of transport, because the waterfall is in the deep mountain, it's not very convenient, you can't go there by bus. The best way is driving a car, but if you are a  foreigner, maybe you can try the ways below:

-Rent a car from Kenting, about 40 mins. ( need international license, about NT$1800 / day )
-Rent a motorcycle from Kenting, about 1 hr. ( need international license, about NT$400 / day )
-Rent a tour driver in Kenting, ask him to bring you guys there. ( about NT$3000 / 2 passengers )

But I don't suggest you to go to Ka-You-Fong Falls to rent "electric motorcycle" because it's too far. Also, the power may not last longer to ride to Ka-You-Fong.



There's a parking place at the entrance. You have to walk about 15 mins, then you will finally arrive at the waterfall.



The scenery is beautiful.



At the end, we are finally see the waterfall!



The water is very rapidly, if you stay too close, your camera may get wet. You might bring a waterproof camera like us, so you can take many pictures easier.



The rocks in water is very slippery, I suggest to buy a pair of rubber shoes (for the diving), about NT 200-300, not really expensive.



It's really fun and excited!



The water is cooler then ocean, even it's a little bit far, people always likes to come to here on summertime.





Before you go back to Kenting, I suggest you to stay at Fangshan, Fangshan is well know for their mango, you can have some fresh mango dessert here, it's really delicious!
